Air freight

When hours matter, cargo lifts. Casco air is for time-critical freight that still needs a calm, readable itinerary — not a mystery black box in the sky.

Who it's for

  • Time-critical general cargo

Samples, spares, prototypes, and documents that lose value every day they wait on an ocean schedule. Air when the cost of delay exceeds the premium of uplift.

  • Known airport pairs

Shippers who need a clear origin airport, destination airport, and hand-off — not a vague “express” label with no itinerary behind it.

  • Multi-mode programmes

Teams already moving ocean or road with Casco who need an express option on the same tracking surface and the same operations desk.

How it moves

  1. 01

    Origin received

Cargo is booked and accepted at origin. Dimensions, weight, and documentation are checked against airline acceptance before uplift is scheduled.

  2. 02

    In flight / at hub

Departed origin airport; may transfer at a hub. The timeline names the airport or hub — not a generic “in transit” with no place.

  3. 03

    Arrival and delivery

Arrived at destination airport, then collected or delivered. Customs and last mile may be a separate leg; the ID still shows where air ends.

What we can arrange

  • General cargo uplift

Standard air freight on commercial lanes. We confirm airline acceptance, cut-off times, and whether the cargo fits belly or main deck constraints.

  • Door-to-airport and airport-to-door

Origin collection and destination delivery can be arranged as part of the lane or as a separate road leg with its own events.

  • Consolidations

When your shipment shares uplift with other cargo, events still attach to your Casco ID so you see the same itinerary language.

Documentation

Paperwork travels with the cargo. Requirements vary by lane and commodity — this is the usual starting list, not legal advice.

  • Commercial invoice and packing list
  • Air waybill or equivalent transport document
  • Export/import permits where the lane requires them
  • MSDS and shipper’s declaration for dangerous goods — mandatory conversation before booking
  • Battery statements for lithium-powered equipment

What you can ship

General cargo that airlines will accept. Dimensions, weight, and dangerous goods are not a web form — tell us on Contact and we will say yes, no, or not like that. Lithium batteries, chemicals, magnets, and temperature-sensitive pharma need a conversation first. We do not list every IATA code on a webpage; we read the cargo.

Tracking IDs for this mode start with CASCO-A-. Enter yours on the tracking page to see itinerary steps and events.

Common questions

How fast is Casco air?
Transit depends on the airport pair, airline schedule, and customs at destination — not a single number on the site. Ask on Contact with origin, destination, and deadline; we reply with an honest window.
Can I track air freight like ocean?
Yes. Air IDs use CASCO-A- and the same tracking page: status card, progress steps, and event timeline. The schematic lane shows origin, hub, and destination from events.
What cannot fly without a discussion?
Dangerous goods, oversized units, lithium batteries, live animals, perishables without cold chain confirmation, and cargo that exceeds airline dimension/weight limits for the lane.
